How to open tape in Historical mode

Modified on Tue, 10 Jun at 5:28 PM

Opening Linked Windows

This function allows opening linked windows (i.e., windows that are associated with the current instrument), which display both online and historical data.

Creating a Linked Window

To create linked windows, right-click on the chart to open the context menu and select Create Linked Window.

Data Display Modes

Once at least one linked window has been created, a new item will appear in the context menu. This item allows switching the data display mode in the linked windows.

Real Time Mode

In this mode, linked windows display data of the same instrument as shown on the chart in real time.

Historical Mode

This is the history viewing mode. The user is prompted to select a historical range to display data in the linked windows:

  1. The first mouse click on the chart sets the start point.
  2. The second click sets the end point.
  3. To change the range, press the Esc key to delete the previous one and select a new range.
  4. You can shift the range left or right using the left/right arrow keys.
The tape only displays the data for the selected period on the chart.
