Connecting to IQFeed

This guide is designed to help you connect IQfeed to the ATAS platform.

The process of registering for Free Trial access to IQFeed is described in the article: IQFeed Demo Registration.

Before connecting your IQFeed account to the ATAS platform, make sure you have downloaded and installed the latest version of the IQFeed client software.

After installing and running this program, a window will open where you need to enter your IQFeed account details, which are provided in the registration email. The same window briefly appears when you click Connect on the added IQFeed connection.

To set up the IQFeed connection on the ATAS platform, click on Connections in the main platform window, then select Add, choose IQFeed, and click Next.

In the IQFeed connection window, enter your credentials (username and password), then click Finish.

1) Enter your login details (login and password) in the connection window.


2) Click on Next.


If you do not have a live account, you can register for a demo account by clicking here: https://www.iqfeed.net/index.cfm?displayaction=start 

When registering, you will need to enter your VISA or Mastercard details, from which $1 will be deducted for verification purposes and refunded immediately.


After configuring the connection, it will appear as a separate line in the connections window:

Connections window

  1. Add - add a new connection.

  2. Type - connection source.

  3. Name - the name of the connection, which you can set yourself.

  4. State - connection status.

  5. Is market data - option to choose a quote provider (this connection will be used as the quote provider).

  6. Auto connect - if you want the connection to be established automatically when the platform starts, enable this option.

  7. Connection settings button.

  8. Delete - to remove the connection from the list button.

  9. Connect/Disconnect - connect/disconnect the connector.
