Connecting to CQG/Continuum

Modified on Mon, 2 Jun at 5:34 PM

This guide is designed to help you connect CQG to the ATAS platform.

How to connect a real CQG/Continuum account

  • Contact your broker and inform them that you want to trade using ATAS.
  • Your broker will then add ATAS (identified as AdvancedTS) in the list of available platforms for your account in the CQG CAST back office.
  • After that, you can connect your CQG trading account via either the previous platform or ATAS.
The CQG login allows only one platform to be connected at a time. If you want to connect your account to multiple platforms simultaneously, ask your broker to issue an additional CQG login.

Setting up the connection

To set up the CQG connection in ATAS, follow the guide in this article: Connection Settings Window.

  1. Click the Add button to add a new connection.

  1. The CQG connection window will open. If you already have a login and password for a live account, enter them in the corresponding fields, select Live as the connection type, and click Finish.

After the connection

After configuration, the connection will appear as a separate line in the connections list.
