Simple Moving Average (SMA) is calculated by summing closing prices for a specific time period (e. g. 15М, 1H, Daily) with further division of the obtained sum by the number of periods.

To add and set up the indicator, open the Indicators settings window.

Period Specifies the quantity of recent candles to include in the calculations.

Visualization

Colored direction Decides whether to use distinct colors for ascending and descending elements.
Bullish color Sets the color for elements with a bullish direction.
Bearish color Sets the color for elements with a bearish direction.

Approximation alert

NameDescription
Use alerts Enables or disables the sound notification.
Repeat alert If the option is enabled, then when the condition is repeated in the same bar, a repeated alert will be generated, otherwise only one alert will be generated during one bar.
Approximation filter Defines the number of ticks by which the current price must approach the target level to trigger the alert.
Alert File This parameter allows users to specify the name of a custom audio file for alert sounds. Users can select a WAV file that will be played whenever an alert condition is triggered. The chosen WAV file should be located in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\ATAS Platform\Sounds.
Font Color Sets the color of the text in the alert window.
Background Sets the background color of the alert window.

  • Hide - Hides the data series from the chart
ColorDefines the color used to display the series on the chart.
Text ColorDefines the text color used to display the series on the chart.
WidthDefines the thickness of lines or elements in the chart
Line styleSpecifies the dash pattern used for lines in the chart, allowing selection of styles like solid, dotted, dashed, or custom patterns for visual differentiation

Show zero values on axisDetermines if a zero value should be displayed on the price axis.
Show valueDetermines whether to display the current value of the data series on the price panel.
ScaleDetermines whether scaling is applied to the data series, adjusting its display size and proportions on the chart.
Draw above priceDetermines whether the visual elements are drawn above or below the price data on a chart. When enabled, it overlays the indicator's graphics over the price plot.
Ignored by alertsSpecifies whether the value of this data series should be ignored by the alerts set for drawing objects.
