Rahul Mohindar Oscillator

The RMO oscillator was developed by Rahul Mohindar, an Indian. The purpose of the oscillator is to find trends. It detects trends in financial markets and is used for working with Open-High-Low-Close charts for a wide range of securities, including stocks, commodities and Forex.

The indicator has the following parameters:


Period

Moving Average - setting of the moving averages period.

High/Low - setting of the search period for peak values.

Exponential moving average - setting of the channel values smoothing period.

Signal Period - setting of the indicator values smoothing period.

Source - setting of the indicator calculation parameters:

  • Open
  • High
  • Low
  • Close
  • Volume

Panel - selection of the indicator location in the chart:

  • New panel
  • Chart

Visualization, Buys, Sells, Exponential moving average 1, Exponential moving average 2

Show value - display of the indicator value on the price scale.

Show zero values - display of zero values.

Scale/Auto-scaling - if this option is on, the scale will be automatically calculated, based on the minimum and maximum indicator values, so that the indicator would fit in the chart.

Visual type - visual setting of the indicator display in the chart:

Line style - setting of the line display style:

  • Dot
  • Solid
  • Dash
  • Dash - dot
  • Dash - dot - dot

Width - setting of the indicator line width.
