DeMarker - technical DeMarker indicator (DeM) is based on comparison of the current bar high with the previous bar high. If the current bar high is higher, the respective difference is registered. If the current high is smaller or equal to the previous bar high, zero value is registered. Then, these differences for ‘n’ periods are summed up. The received value becomes the DeMarker indicator numerator and is divided by the same value plus the sum of differences between price lows of the previous and current bars. If the current price low is bigger than the one of the previous bar, zero value is registered.
If the DeMarker indicator values move below 30, the upward price reversal is expected. If the indicator values move above 70, the downward price reversal is expected
If you use longer calculation periods, it would allow you to catch hold of a long-term tendency in the market development. Indicators with short periods allow entering the market at the lowest risk point and planning the moment of the trade execution in such a way, so that it stays in line with the main tendency.
