The Guppy Multiple Moving Average(GMMA) indicator is a trending technical indicator which identifies both long-term and short-term trend directions using multiple moving average lines.
This indicator plots two sets of moving average lines. One set of moving average lines represents a long-term trend and is colored blue, while another set represents a short-term trend and is colored red.
The GMMA indicator plots six moving average lines for the short-term set and six moving average lines for the long-term set. Short-term moving average lines are 3, 5, 8, 10, 12 and 15-period exponential moving average (EMA). Long-term moving average lines are 30, 35, 40, 45, 50 and 55-period exponential moving average (EMA).
